Qualification: BNYS or M.Sc in Yoga Science

1. Program Development and Implementation:
o Develop individualized and group yoga therapy programs that align with the needs of patients undergoing fertility treatments.
o Integrate yoga practices such as asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), meditation, and relaxation techniques to support patients’ physical and emotional health.
o Adapt yoga techniques to accommodate patients’ varying stages of fertility treatment, including pre-IVF, during IVF, and post-treatment phases.
2. Patient Care and Support:
o Conduct initial assessments to understand each patient’s unique needs, health status, and treatment goals.
o Diet counselling and instructions based on the patient's needs as advised by the doctor.
o Counselling for all aspects of emotional and mental well-being related to lifestyle changes.
o Provide one-on-one sessions and group classes focused on reducing stress, improving fertility, and promoting overall well-being.
o Educate patients on the benefits of yoga for fertility and how to incorporate practices into their daily routines.
3. Collaboration with Healthcare Team:
o Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that yoga therapy complements the medical treatment plan.
o Provide feedback to the reporting team regarding patients’ responses to yoga therapy and any relevant observations.
4. Patient Education and Classes:
o Educating the patient about our yoga sessions and role of yoga in enhancing fertility and reducing stress.
o Create educational materials, such as handouts, to guide patients in practicing yoga safely at home.
5. Record Keeping and Documentation:
o Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient sessions, including documentation, and any recommendations.
o Ensure all documentation complies with clinic policies and patient confidentiality standards.
6. Continuous Learning and Development:
o Stay updated on the latest research and developments in yoga therapy, fertility, and related fields.
o Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
o Promotional activities are included in this field.
7. Nutrition Guidance:
o Offer evidence-based nutritional advice specific to infertility.
o Address dietary factors that impact reproductive health.
o Collaborate with patients to create personalized meal plans.
o Educate on foods that support fertility and hormonal balance.
Qualifications and prerequisites:
1. Experience preference: Open to both fresher and experienced candidates.
2. Qualifications: BNYS or M.Sc. in Yogic Science, preferably with a certification in diet and nutrition.
3. Other Prerequisites:
• Certification: Certified yoga therapist with specialized training in fertility yoga.
• Psychology Background: Understanding of psychological principles related to infertility.
• Nutrition Knowledge: Familiarity with nutrition’s impact on reproductive health.
• Empathy and Compassion: Ability to provide empathetic support during a challenging journey.
• Effective Communication: Clear communication skills to guide patients effectively.
